Subway station
York St is more than just a transit hub; it's a vibrant intersection of cultures and city life in Brooklyn. Known for its unique ambiance, this subway station features stunning tiled columns and occasionally hosts talented buskers like a cellist, adding charm to the bustling atmosphere. While the station is clean compared to others in NYC, be prepared for a crowded platform and a steep climb when departing. Despite the occasional transit chaos, the vibrant community and proximity to Dumbo’s quaint shops make it an intriguing spot worth visiting.

The cleanliness is a pleasant surprise compared to many other NYC stations. I absolutely loved exploring Dumbo, with its cute shops and stunning views of the Brooklyn Bridge nearby. It’s a bustling place filled with diverse individuals, adding to the lively atmosphere.
Just be ready for the climb when leaving - it’s a bit of a trek uphill! Can't wait to come back for lunch or dinner... 🍽️
