Maybe you think I overrated this place.
In hindsight the restaurant deserves my 5-star rating.
We arrived hungry and wanted German food, and voila! Here it is right next to our hotel.
German restaurants are not that easy to find in Berlin these days.

Nice place to grab a bite to eat.
We stopped here for lunch while dropping off our daughter at the train station.
I had the salami sandwich with radishes.
It was good and it hit the spot.
Our waitress was very nice and attentive.
Everything arrived timely and was fresh.
The view was also very enjoyable.
We sat outside since weather was very nice.
If you haven’t been here then go.
If you have, then go back.

We stopped here by chance as it is located close to the railway station. The menu is limited; mostly German meals are offered.
Overpriced. I ate pesto spätzle ( type of pasta), 14 euro from daily menu.
Overcooked spätzle, industrial pesto ( supermarket quality).
Big portion, boring taste, overpriced. We ordered a piece of sausage with an egg on top: too simple. Inattentive service. Overpriced. Plus: close to the station; tables outside. I cannot recommend.
There is a better place in the neighbourhood.
