This is such a great location and it's a shame about the food.
Both of us ordered pasta and neither of us were very satisfied.
I won't say this is the worst carbonara I've ever had, but it comes close.
Barely any ham, lacked seasoning, very sure it was roux based instead of just cream and egg.
Tasted more like a stodgy Alfredo and the majority went back to the kitchen uneaten.

Schade, daß Sie uns Vorort darauf nicht angesprochen haben.
Das hätten wir, Restaurant MEDITERRANEO, Vorort auch geklärt. Das ist wieder "Google-Anonymität". Danke für die Bewertung, aber ein "Spaghetti-Carbonara" kostet bei uns 8,90€, nicht wie Sie schreiben 10€-20€.

We got there 20 minutes before the kitchen closed, but I don’t think that should excuse the quality of the pasta dishes we got.
I ordered the carbonara, which is my favorite pasta dish, but it really didn't taste or look like any carbonara I've had before.
My partner had the bolognese, and honestly, we’ve had better from a can.
The portions were big, but that’s the only positive thing I can say. Also, our server never even asked if we liked our meals, which kind of says it all. Usually, I read reviews thoroughly before trying a new restaurant.
But we were nearby for the Filmrauschpalast.
My bad because, wow.
I really wouldn’t recommend eating here.
We certainly won’t come back.

So kochen wir, „Restaurant MEDITERRANEO“, seit 1997. Wie Sie es richtig geschrieben haben, es sind üppige Portionen.
Ich habe mit dem Kellner Rücksprache gehalten.
Ihre Teller waren „sauber“ gegessen, ohne Rest.
Deshalb hat er Sie nicht gefragt, ob es geschmeckt hat. Schade, daß Sie uns Vorort darauf nicht gefragt oder etwas gesagt haben... UK: We are very sorry that you did not like the freshly cooked "Pasta".
This is how we, "Restaurant MEDITERRANEO", have been cooking since 1997. As you correctly wrote, the portions are generous.
I checked with the waiter.
Your plates were eaten "clean", without any leftovers.
That's why he didn't ask you if it tasted good. It's a pity that you didn't ask us or say anything on the spot...
