The food is fresh and the outdoor space is great for families but quantities small.
Wish they had more coffee choices.

Our coffee choices are limited, however our 'Hello Honey' has shown to be a fan favorite, definitely a must try! We would love to know which menu items your party received that was small in quantity.

I recently visited Waterloo, drawn in by its vibrant atmosphere and family-friendly vibe.
The place certainly delivers on its promise of a welcoming environment, especially for kids, making it a great spot for family outings.
The decor and ambiance set a cheerful tone right from the start, offering a pleasant backdrop to our meal. However, the food didn't quite match up to the initial impression.
The dishes we tried were somewhat lackluster, lacking the flair and flavor we were hoping for.
It felt as though there was a missed opportunity to showcase more exciting and delicious options on the menu.
Additionally, the chips, which can often be a highlight or a letdown at such establishments, sadly fell into the latter category.
They tasted as if they were store-bought, missing that fresh, homemade quality that can elevate a casual dining experience. In conclusion, Waterloo has a lot going for it in terms of atmosphere and kid-friendliness, making it a potentially good choice for families looking to dine out.
However, the culinary and service aspects leave room for improvement.
With some tweaks to the menu and a boost in service enthusiasm, Waterloo could easily elevate itself beyond a 3-star rating.
As it stands, it's a decent option for a casual meal out, particularly if the ambiance is your top priority.

I had the fish sliders plate.
It left a little to be desired.
The fish nuggets were teeny tiny and half the size of the slider bun.
Unfortunately they were overcooked, leaving them crispy on the outside and mushy on the inside.
The flavor of the slider was awesome though.
The coleslaw inside was really tasty.
Unfortunately the plate came with only the sliders.
I was told this so I should have ordered a side 🥺.
A side of tater tots! One of my companions had tater tots and it was a huge serving and she rated them fantastic 😍.
Out of 7 people and 7 orders, mine was the only one that was a little less than desired.
The burgers are huge, and very tasty.
3 of our party ordered burgers, 2 of those sharing 1 burger!🤩🤩🤩 As are the chicken tacos? My sister ordered them and she ate leftovers for 2 days.
She can only eat a tiny amount at a time, but they came with 4 quarter slices of melted cheese and chicken.
Too spicy for me, but she loved them.
🤩.
The remaining person ordered the fish plate.
He ate it all and the fries, and seemed happy although I did not get his opinion.
The waiter was very good.
Friendly and efficient.
We are outside on a picnic table.
It was very pleasant.
The restroom was clean and pretty.
