The Waffle House near Georgia Tech. You walk in and it's adorned with Georgia Tech related decorations and murals on the walls, if that's your thing (GO DAWGS!).The crowd will probably be tech students and/or rowdy people in Midtown, guess it probably depends on the time of the day. I came at around 11pm to try out the new pumpkin spice waffle I saw advertised at another Waffle House earlier in the day, and in classic Waffle House fashion, there was only one server and one cook and several groups of customers dining in and trying to get takeout.I got an all star breakfast in several parts due to the understaffing, and it was what I expected from an all star breakfast at Waffle House with the toast, hash browns, scrambled eggs, and giant strips of bacon. The new pumpkin spice waffle definitely had pumpkin spice flavor, so try it if that's your thing.
Super delicious late night food to get.Unfortunately, the seatings weren’t available at the time of my visit, but the dish I got - Bacon Egg & Cheese Hashbrown Bowl was superb
The waffle and hash browns were quite good. The toast was ok.The sausage was really dry and the eggs were insanely runny. The waitress was very kind and personable. The restaurant was clean and the food came out in no time at all.Generally, a good experience.I would recommend getting just the waffle.
