This was my first Waffle House experience and absolutely my last.
I knew not to expect anything great but….wow.
Place is disgustingly dirty.
Parts of the kitchen and floors look like they haven’t been cleaned in years.
Food was essentially saturated in grease.
I was blown away at the amount of butter they put on toast…we had to scoop it off because there was so much.
Texas toast was so greasy it felt moist.
Bottom of the barrel establishment.
I have now tried Waffle House and I truly do not understand any praise it gets.
Waitress was friendly and attentive though

Good location, food well made, staff friendly.
But prices at Waffle House have become just BONKERS.
Over $17 for a regular meal and a drink for one person, with tip!!! I used to be a big Waffle House fan, but this is totally out of control.

We stopped in on our way out of town.
The service was quick, the food was tasty and the waitstaff is so kind.
Shout out to Heather.
She took extra time and attention to our littles.
She went to the back for some whip cream to make a cute design on their waffles.
10/10!
