Village Pizza Restaurant

Went for the first time to Village Pizza and even though it wasn’t bad we’ve had better in other places! We decided to try the chicken cutlet sandwich and it was okay it was a bit too thick for our taste, the pizza was also just okay definitely have had better in other locations I think what I enjoyed most was the complimentary bread.
The staff is very kind and welcoming.

Was looking to try pizza in the Hartford area as I hadn't been there before.
Saw Village Pizza high up on recommended lists and gave it a try. I saw they had different options available for crust, so I tried a large thick crust (bacon/meatball) and a medium regular crust with pepperoni. In hindsight I wish I had done the opposite but live and learn. The pepperoni pizza looked 10/10.
And it tasted almost as good.
I felt like I got thick crust on this pizza instead of normal though.
Maybe they just have one style of crust and advertised incorrectly? Either way it tasted great so I wouldn't complain much. The bacon/meatball was just alright.
They cube their meatball pieces but I didn't get much flavor from them.
The bacon was flavorful though and overall it was good enough to eat. I would recommend getting extra cheese or something to add a little grease to the pizza as the dough was a bit dry (though flavorful). I only got take out but the environment was great and seemed like a perfect spot for locals to return to regularly.
I would go back but probably stick to the pepperoni personally.

What a great surprise! The pizza crust was lite, crispy, and buttery.
The sauce on point - which in my opinion makes or breaks a pizza.
The pies are made in a pan so they will make your crust as thin or thick as you like.
We went with thin.
I also tried the lemon/chicken rice soup and it was also delicious.
