Was there for lunch on a Saturday.Staff were friendly and efficient.Restaurant was very clean and uncluttered.Bathroom (women’s) was spotless.Had a spinach salad which they were nice enough to split for us.Veggies were fresh and crisp, perfectly dressed with a delicious white balsamic vinaigrette. We had the cheese ravioli with tomato cream sauce and the margherita pizza.Pasta was light, perfect combo of all denta along the sides and soft in the middle. Not chewy or gummy. The perfect amount of cheese filling was soft and flavorful.Tomato cream sauce was tangy and creamy.Pizza crust was not too thick.Crispy on the outside edges with soft inside.Sauce was tangy but not too acidic.Cheese was fresh and plentiful.Large fresh basil leaves over the top of each slice. We did get some delicious focaccia bread to start with a yummy cold pressed olive oil.10/10 would not hesitate to eat here again.
We had the pleasure of eating at Via Veroli 8/13/23.6pm.Let's start by saying that this place has changed hands three times, but this time I think this particular ownership will be around for quite a while. It's nice to see a family atmosphere at a fancier Italian restaurant. The decor has been updated; clean, neutral colors, average lighting, and no carpet in comfortable setting.Seating is nicely spaced out, yet not being too far as you can't talk to other people. The staff is light-hearted and observably happy. The food is excellent, definitely is creative and have no complaints whatsoever.Parking is on a small service road or in the back of the restaurant. It's pretty easy to access if you are handicapped. The owners/partners Sal and Walter are friendly and approachable.Sal is the chef at both here and a bistro in Scarsdale. When I asked him how he could successfully have and participate in too restaurants, he clearly indicated that his family, partner and staff are supportive aspects to running successful businesses. Sunday night, this restaurant was busy, but it felt like being at home, servers, waiters, the chef, the manager all participated on the floor seamlessly and there were no hiccups. We had chicken parm, and a specialty seafood dish, all cooked to perfection. We tried a eggplant buraata, which was outstanding. This was served with their homemade bread with olive oil.One tasting note, the bread has just the right amount of a salt on top that made it absolutely irresistible. The seafood is always a challenge at any restaurant to make sure all the components come together and cooked correctly and there was absolutely no issues with my meal; everything item, from the shrimp, calamari, clams...All cooked to perfection and not rubbery. Since I am one of the biggest producers of privately made tomato sauce in Westchester County, I will say that their sauce is a contender.I really enjoyed it; it was not too sweet and not to savory. So those are just a few notes about this place and we hope to be back and taste some other local favorites. We wish this restaurant a lot of luck and prosperity in the future.A special recognition to Dawn, our server; she is an outstanding individual who made out visit to this new restaurant pleasant. She was quick to answer questions and service was on point.
