Very quiet diner.Very welcoming, not a lot of people when we went at 11am.I had the chicken fried steak meal and husband had the biscuits and gravy meal. I loved the chicken fried steak and the hash browns were very good as well, also came with 2 eggs and toast of choice which is hand made so very thick cut.Biscuits were homemade too and the gravy.Husband and I agreed the gravy was missing just a little something but it was homemade which just has a little bit different of a taste.Great little diner. They have a variety of things.
My friend and I liked this diner. The booths were big and comfortable. The atmosphere was nice and it was clean too.All the employees were nice and helpful. Our waiter kept making us laugh. The service was fast as well.My friends coffee cup stayed full.We both got a bacon cheeseburger and fries. She has Swiss cheese, I had american. When the food first came out, I was excited to try it.It looked delicious! It was really good too.It had a great flavor. The bread was so good it was homemade with crispy edges. It was big and filling. The cheese, bacon, and veggies were all good and fresh. The fries were also super good, nice, and crispy.I would definitely go eat a burger here again. The only complaint I had was that the bottles of ketchup they had on the table tasted weird, and I didn't like it.Either left out too long or not cleaning before putting new ketchup in.Everything else was amazing, and I want to try their other items. They also have an ice cream area.
Food was good but $17 for a bacon burger double pattie or not is a little spendy. The waitress was overly friendly which was great but for the $ spent you can do way better.Though the buns were made in house and tasty. The bathroom was horrible and nasty.Like they need a new sink and faucets. The one urinal was set way too high and the one toilet was super low.Like very weird truly and nasty dirty.Plus they have minimal hours of operation as well.Frank's nostalgic diners right across the street. You're better served going there or to Ming Wahs right around the corner.
