Tropical Taste Restaurant is a hidden gem on W North Ave that every Chicagoan should discover! 🌟 During my first visit, I indulged in their Dominican breakfast, which was absolutely delightful. The welcoming staff, especially a kind woman whose name I think started with an M, made my experience even better.

The passion fruit juice was refreshingly good, and the chicharrones were crispy perfection. I returned for the oxtail with my dad, and it was superb! Everything here bursts with flavor, from the fried redfish to the coconut codfish.

Fast, friendly service and incredible prices make this spot one of my new favorites - can't wait to bring my wife next time
