I always try to eat at Tops any time I am in Memphis.
Had a great fast meal this time (pork shoulder plate with baked beans and fries), and picked up a bottle of their excellent sweet & spicy sauce to take home.
I'm from Kansas City, where we love our BBQ, and Toms deserves its of popularity! 😋

We didn't know what to eat because we have never been here.
The lady taking the order said...
do you like burgers and BBQ? We said yea...
so we got it together.
Great choice.
I had the beans and potatoe salad.

ZERO Stars for food handling.
ZERO regard for cross contamination. Apparently raw and cooked food is prepared in the same area.
If not… how did I receive a hamburger that had a small piece of raw meat wrapped up with it? All it takes is a little bacteria to make a person very sick. When I returned it to the restaurant- the sandwich fell out of the bottom of the soaked and soggy bag as I entered the lobby.
I was then met with 4 sets of very annoyed eyes and a sassy smirk from behind the counter.
I was not greeted at all- So I respectfully announced to them all what the problem was while asking for something to clean up my mess… a young girl (the one who smirked) came out and swept it up (smirk at THAT!😤) It was assumed I’d want my order re-made (NO THANKS) but I asked for a refund.
I was refunded (given a voided receipt) so I guess problem solved.
🙄😒 I didn’t appreciate being treated like an inconvenience when THEY served me food that would’ve made me violently sick. Oh, and the red kool aid is watery.
(SHAME!!!)
