Probably the best Jamaican food anywhere in the country… and I’m from NYC and eat in Jamaican in Flatbush ALL the time! Delicious jerk chicken (and pork, which I’ve never seen, but it works incredibly) and oxtail, plus tons of extras and desserts that round out the experience.
Supremely hospitable mom ‘n pop team running the place as well.
Do yourself a favor and eat here as soon as you can! 11/10

Last night, my bf & I had the most delicious meal at Topnotch Island Flavor Kitchen! The chicken pumpkin soup was a taste sensation --- the dumplings are the best I've had in a long time.
This was the first time I tried goat and the curry goat didn't disappoint --- it was bursting with flavor! The Braised Oxtail fell off the bone --- it was pure comfort on a plate.
Shoutout to the owners for being genuinely kind and making us feel like family.
Counting down the days until our next visit – this place is a gem!

It can be hard to find good Jamaican food when traveling but Phoenix has been doing good.
Topnotch has kept up its reputation.
Enjoyed my stew peas and gingery sorrel.
Good reggae music.
