The absolute only reason I'm giving this place a four stars is because my food was slightly undercooked.I took a couple of friends from out of state to this place and it was my first time here as well, I tried some of their food and it was really good.It didn't taste undercooked at all, I did mention it to my waitress but nothing really happened, I didn't get a refund or a replacement plate even though I was told I would.didn't want to make a big deal so I just let it be.However, the food that my friends got was really good.I'm pretty sure if my food was cooked all the way through it would have been just as delicious. With all that being said, I see myself coming back here and giving it another try and maybe they can get the five stars that they deserve.Definitely recommend checking out this place, don't let my experience hinder your decision.
My tacos looked like they just threw the ingredients together. The potatoes are way too big for this tortilla.I removed them from the taco and placed them on the side. They’re bland.I asked for my ingredients to be mixed and this is evidently—mixed. Now I’m reminded of why I don’t frequent this establishment on San Pedro.I called to speak to a manager. The young lady said she was.I told her of my issue and she then said the manager wasn’t there today but she’d let her know tomorrow when she comes in.Idk it just feels like a “you’ll take what you get and like it” situation. Not cool.
Fresh and fluffy flour tortillas like Mom used to make! Ingredients are fresh and tasty. Service is very quick and good. The location is not in the best neighborhood or in the best shape, but for a homestyle $2 breakfast taco with generous servings it is just fine. New digs in a better location would surely be in the $7 taco range, a la Velvet Taco or Torchys.
