Definitely come here! The service was incredible, the restaurant is beautiful, and the food is delicious. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive, kept our drinks full, and was always ready if we needed anything. Two things that really stood out were the steak tartare and the the cornbread.
The cornbread might be the best that I've ever had

We were absolutely blown away by this restaurant.
First of all, it is located on the ground floor of the iconic Kansas City club building.
The lobby and the entire first floor are still full of the original charm.
My husband, son, and I celebrated a wedding anniversary and we could not have been happier.
The menu is set up as a series of small plates.
Every single course that we ordered was better than the course before.
The three of us were constantly telling each other how this was the best—-we had ever had.
The service was outstanding, but not intrusive.
The restaurant was intimate and had a wonderful vibe, a great mixture of mid century modern with historic windows, paneling, etc.
There is also a full bar/speakeasy in the basement which we visited.
At this moment, I believe this is our favorite place to eat in all of Kansas City.

Unique place with a evolving menu.
Classy atmosphere.
Drinks are wonderful and unique.
Prices are expensive for small plate service, however the quality of the food is superior than most others.
