New American restaurant, Bar, Restaurant
Everything was good in my opinion. It’s a very beautiful place to have brunch/lunch.I liked the atmosphere of it.The girl who served us was very kind and helpful.I ordered lobster Benedict which tasted and looked more like a crab cake and I was fine with that because I like crab. The steak and eggs came with some unexpected items I guess it was a bonus hehe. The banana and Nutella Crepe was delicious.Overall, it is a really good place.
10/10 for decor because, wow, what a beautiful restaurant. The layout of the restaurant does however give off a lot of echo and the volume control is not ideal! Food was definitely unique and done well although a bit expensive in comparison to similar restaurants. You're definitely paying more for the vibes than the food but that's okay! Our service has been great on both visits!
Stopped by here for brunch on a Saturday late morning and sat at the bar.I want to highlight the fun cocktail menu. It's creative and I love when brunch places do signature mimosas which are unique to their establishment. Service - Spectacular. The bartender was attentive, kind and friendly. He was super busy and could have used some help behind the bar though, because he did make a few errors when taking my order and handling the service bar orders. Atmosphere - Perfect brunch and mimosas type of vibe for the gworls.Very loud and boisterous crowd having a good time on a Saturday with friends.Loud music, lotssss of Renaissance era Beyonce + other pop music.Loved that. The decor is also cute and well thought out.If you're a TikTok or IG content creator, you'd love it here. Food - Saved this for last because it was disappointing enough that I won't be back anytime soon, if ever.I ordered the vanilla bean French toast (held the ice cream and pecans). My French toast came out severely undercooked.Like the toast was still soggy wet and eggy throughout.I was apologetic because I hate being a bother, but this absolutely needed to go back.It was a shame that the kitchen even okay'd it, which makes me question the kitchen's quality control. The second came out and it was obviously not dipped in the egg batter as much as the first one.It was super bland and I honesty only ate 1 of the 2 slices because I was over it at that point.I also wanted to note for the other syrup snobs out there that they use regular, low quality, high fructose corn syrup.I really expected this place to have maple syrup (which is absolutely superior) just based on their menu prices and the tier of the other items on said menu.It would have made the dish so much better and saved it from total blandness. Maybe the egg-based dishes are what you should stick with, or maybe this place is just better for dinner. Not sure, but there are too many other places in the area to check out before I give Seventh House another chance.
