I’m sure they don’t here it enough. They are a great staff with a beautiful rustic site. The grassy area was perfect for our corporate event for Dreamforce 2023.Yes perfect it was a simple walk to the chase center for foo fighter concert. Down the street from UCSF Children’s hospital.Thank you to the staff
Several months ago I had mussels here which didn’t taste fresh. They also had a slightly off taste.Since they weren’t that bad, I ate a few more hoping the next ones would be better. They weren’t. Concerned that it wouldn’t be safe to keep eating the dish, I asked for it to be returned to the kitchen. The waitress was reluctant but then did so.The manager then refused to take the partially eaten dish off the bill and accused me of eating half of it (which I didn’t do and even then the mussels were definitely not fresh and possibly not safe). The manager also said they were fresh from the morning but I do not believe that… It was embarrassing in front of my friends to argue with a restaurant about a dish that 1) tasted bad, 2) was possibly unsafe and 3) was only partially eaten.I ended up paying the full price of the dish too.I was disappointed in the food and even more so in the way the manager handled the situation / gaslit me over a few bucks
Came on a weekday for dinner.Tried the classic burger. The bun and meat were very well seasoned and tasted quite good.It came with a side of fries and I appreciated that they had the right amount of crispiness to them.Service was a little slow in terms of getting our orders but overall they were very nice, they were admittedly very busy.We sat in the outside area which was very nice, the inside when going to the bathroom was very loud and we were glad we had not sat inside.Got a mojito, it was decent. Not the best mojito I’ve had but also not the worst.I think someone had too much fun adding unnecessary amounts of basil.Overall a good experience and looking forward to trying other items on the menu.
