I popped into The Hitching Post for a casual dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was cozy, perfect for unwinding after a long day. I tried the chicken and chorizo risotto, which was bursting with flavor, and the portion sizes were generous. Their cocktail selection was impressive, too - definitely recommend the mojitos!

While the onion rings didn’t quite hit the mark, the friendly service more than made up for it. A solid choice for American fare in Dumfries! 🍽️
