This was a fun pub with great food and a wonderful atmosphere.Every surface from the walls to the ceiling is covered with dollar bills with names and messages on them. We loved the fish and chips, and the reuben was tasty. It's a fun place to visit! I enjoyed the draft cider as well.
We've lived in CHS since Aug 2009 and I wanted to try somewhere we've not eaten.I went with my youngest before she reports to The Citadel tomorrow (she's my try new places side kick). The 30 years of dollar bills on the walls are awesome.The staff were fantastic and we enjoyed the food!! Highly recommend!! I ordered the Chicken Philly sandwich with tots and a side of slaw.The sandwich and coleslaw were amazing! The tots were awesome and cooked perfectly!! I look forward to taking visiting family to The Griffon and showing off mine and my daughter's dollar.
What an awesome restaurant! The whole place has such a neat environment! The food was great! We ordered queso and chips for a starter.So delish! I ordered a chicken ceasar salad with grilled chicken and my husband had the chicken tender basket.Both were so amazingly good!
