This place looked nice and I thought I would try their happy hour before I dip into large dinner meal.
I ordered few cocktails and they were very good.
Decided to try their CARAMELIZED CAULIFLOWER & GOAT CHEESE, the portion was small really but the taste and ingredients are perfect, it was tasty.
Later I chose to try the HOUSE MADE TAQUITOS, they were supposed to be browned, it took very long to get them and when I started to eat I noticed that they were charred… I brought up to the bartender attention and he said he will let the kitchen know.
No one bothered to come to exchange, I had to eat as I just wanted to leave.
They didn’t even try to discount or replace.
I understand it was happy hour special price but it actually made me just want to leave and not go back.
I settled my bill and I even gave tip.
The sad thing, it’s a nice restaurant and it wasn’t that busy.
I think they care or less about their customers since it’s a tourist city.
I am being nice to give this rating based on my experience.

10/10 food, atmosphere, and company.
Chefs Zach, Eric, and Blake made this night unforgettable and we cannot wait to come back.

My husband surprised me for my birthday and took me to The Chef & I.
Before we even walked in the valet let us know we were in for a treat! We sat at the Chef’s counter and ordered the 5 Course Tasting Menu and Wine Pairing.
Interacting with Chef Blake, asking questions and just hanging out with him was so cool! His skill and passion for food came across through each course! There were things on the menu I never would have ordered like wild boar - delicious! They even surprised me with a delicious bday dessert on them! Next time we’re back in Nashville we’ll be back! Don’t miss out on this wonderfully delicious experience.
