Came here after hearing great reviews from a few people. I will say the food definitely did not disappoint! Absolutely delicious and worth every penny! The food doesn't only taste amazing but it looks amazing also! The service was friendly. The atmosphere is incredible and classy! Great date night location
Can't express what an impressive evening we had to celebrate our anniversary here. As a person who dines out often all over the country, I can say with certainty this was among the best meals I've ever had. The kitchen here really has a great understanding of dairy allergies as well, and doesn't sacrifice great taste at its expense which is something I hear often about folks who have dairy allergies. They don't want tastless! Again, amazing meal and second to none bar service. Very friendly and extremely helpful and accommodating. This also includes aiding us in appetizer selection and wine pairing. The evening ended on a fantastic note as well with a great dessert, and a heartfelt thank you for a fabulous evening. I can't recommend this restaurant enough for fine dining and the perfect way to celebrate any special occasion. Thank You.
The Capital Grille in Providence, Rhode Island, is part of a well-known American chain of upscale steakhouses. It opened its doors in 1990 at 1 Union Station, housed in a historic train station building. The Providence location is notable for being the original Capital Grille, established by Edward P.Grace III, who envisioned a high-end dining experience with an emphasis on dry-aged steaks and an extensive wine list. The restaurant quickly gained popularity for its quality food, elegant atmosphere, and exceptional service, leading to its expansion into a national brand.Today, The Capital Grille maintains its reputation for fine dining and is a staple in Providence's culinary scene. This evening, I had the pleasure of dining with my buddy Eric at Capital Grille.I met Eric at a store where I provided training.Tonight’s experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Upon being seated, we were presented with a delightful assortment of breads.Capital Grille's bread selection is truly exceptional, and it required considerable self-control to resist devouring the entire basket. The anticipation of the subsequent courses was the only deterrent. I commenced my meal with their renowned lobster bisque, enriched with tender lobster meat. This dish set a superb tone for the evening. For the main course, I indulged in a bone-in filet, perfectly cooked to 148°F.This was accompanied by indulgent au gratin potatoes and a standout creamed corn, highly recommended by our knowledgeable server, Erich. To conclude the meal, I savored a decadent chocolate mousse garnished with fresh raspberries, paired with my signature cappuccino. Capital Grille is an essential dining destination. The atmosphere, the exquisite cuisine, and the impeccable service combine to create an unparalleled dining experience.Thank you Bobby, and thank you Adam!
