Went on a Wednesday with my partner for lunch. It was empty when we went so the service was quick and flawless.First time coming here and we loved it! The soy ginger dumplings were so tasty I could've eaten another order of them. The wings were good, but a bit too saucy. The sauce was really thick on the wings. I ordered beef jap chae noodles and they were also amazing! Everything was fresh and satisfying to eat, definitely will be returning.
It was my first time eating at Mokban and I was not disappointed! This is arguably better than the other Korean restaurant I recently went to in Boston.Their cocktails are quite tasty and unique, and so are their dishes! The kimchi tofu stew was absolutely fantastic! The portions were large but not too excessive, and the appetizers were more than enough to share between 4 people! The restaurant is also decorated nicely and has a modern, yet pleasant ambiance.Definitely 5/5 stars.
The food was flavorful and it had a cute vibe about it.The inside was bigger than I thought it would have been. There is not a bar, it's +2 person seating. There is also a community type table next to the entrance. We ordered a carafe of the mojito soju.I didn't know they put frosted ice on top and when I poured it, it made a big mess.Tasty nonetheless.Steamed dumplings were good. Then to the entrees.I haven't had Korean food like this, there were individual plates and I truly didn't have a clue how to eat it the proper way.Our drinks were empty for a while while we were finishing the entrees. The server only came by once to take the order and once to electronically hand me the bill. They do BYOB for wine with a $10 corkage fee per person FYI.
