Absolutely perfect. I ordered the salmon platter and crunchy French toast presentation of both was fire.Service was fire.Ambiance was intimate with a view of the sidewalk, a bit tucked away.I could've honestly done without the French toast as it was a bit too eggy and wet in the center and not as sweet as I'd hoped but still good. The salmon Platter on the other hand was immaculate.Perfect flavor combination and everything.I super I just wish there were some bread slices on the side if I could add anything.
We went out for breakfast today, but we were disappointed to find out that we had to share a table with another group. As a family of five, we needed a bigger table and were not aware of the shared table arrangement. The food service was fast, and the portions were good. They also had gluten-free bread, which was a plus. The eggs, omelettes, and other dishes were tasty. However, the French toast was dry, and they only had imitation maple syrup that was full of sugar. Moreover, we were charged a 20% service fee instantly for our group of five, which we found outrageous given their already high prices.
Found this little spot for brunch before we saw Chicago a few blocks away. It was a Sunday so we expected it to be crowded. The place is tiny- like literally 1 small room. But if you are able to squeeze in a snag a table, it is well worth it! They made it clear we could only stay for an hour and at times we felt rushed but the food….My goodness the food made up for it all! This is not an exaggeration- the French Onion soup could quite possibly be the best I’ve ever had. And I get French Onion ALL the time. Incredible. The drinks were fantastic, the tots were perfectly crispy, the brussel sprouts were out of this world and the Eggs Benny were delicious. I could eat here ever Sunday but unfortunately we don’t live in the area. Friendly staff and cool vibes even though it’s loud. Thanks for making our Sunday brunch so out of this world. Highly recommended!!!
