The best city gyro

Egyptian restaurant, Greek restaurant, Gyro restaurant

At The Best City Gyro in Nashville, you'll find a mix of Egyptian and Greek flavors served in a laid-back setting. Though it offers a quick bite of comfort food like gyros and falafel, recent reviews suggest a concerning pattern of pricing inconsistencies and service challenges. With wheelchair accessibility and options for delivery and takeaway, the location aims to cater to all diners. Just be cautious with payment methods, as some patrons have reported unexpected charges. For lunch or dinner, remember to do your research before indulging in a meal here.

Beware! We took a cab ride from Broadway.
He told us $25.
We arrived and tried to pay cash.
He said card only.
So I gave my AMEX.
He then said "oh you don't have a debit card" being a some what seasoned traveler I KNOW not to give anyone my debit card.
After some back and forth the driver finally accepted our cash. I checked my AMEX and there was a charge for over $60 from THE BEST.
Which comes back to this place.
So they are skimming cards with cab drivers.
DO NOT use your DC when traveling.
Seems like scamming is now so prevalent!

Surprisingly, a lot of the restaurants were closed by 10pm, and we stopped here for a bite.
Service was fast… a lamb and a chicken gyro were done quickly.
HUGE serving size and the gentleman working the truck was super nice.

The food tasted great until a few hours later my husband was throwing it up.
And just like the previous reviews he changed his prices.
Unfortunately we didn’t look at the reviews before selecting this place.
We were just hungry.
And it led to an entire day of throwing up.
0/10 would NOT recommend this place. We order the lamb fries.
