This place is a real gem.We were visiting from Scotland and ended up having breakfast here twice and returned for dinner three times as it's near where we stayed. The food was great, proper comfort food and huge portions! The highlight of our visits was definitely our interactions with the barman, Babe.He is so happy and friendly and the banter with him was good fun, he definitely made us feel very welcome. If you're visiting Seattle and staying nearby then this place is definitely worth a visit. We got chatting to both locals and other visitors, all of whom were very friendly.
The 5 point is amazing! A perfect little greasy spoon that helps remind you why you still look at downtown Seattle with rose tinted glasses after all these years.I would highly recommend the Reuben and the 5 point burger. The bartender was a little quirky and snippy - I even watched him physically push a customer out of his way to make space at the bar - but he makes killer cocktails! All in all I have no complaints and I would definitely recommend a visit.
I had breakfast at The 5 Point Cafe this morning and thoroughly enjoyed the food, the service and the atmosphere. If I lived around the corner from 5 Point, I would probably be there for breakfast, lunch and dinner! It’s the kind of place that’s casual, comfortable and fun.I also enjoyed the 80s and 90s classic rock that was playing.Journey, Madonna, Bon Jovi, Eagles, etc..
