Stopped by this place for a quick bite.
Was so impressed and satisfied! The vibe is super chill and everyone working there is so relaxed and nice.
The food was amazing! Great portion and delicious.

Never really had southern food before so didn’t know what to expect but this was right beside my hotel so I wanted to give it a try.
Ordered the hot mess as I love anything spicy - could definitely taste a lot of butter in both the garlic grits as well as the biscuit (which is something I would only really allow myself to indulge on vacation as I was visiting from Vancouver lol).
The spicy sausage was crisp and I found the picked jalapeños were crucial to cut through the richness.
Wish there was a second runny egg to mix my biscuits into but was yummy otherwise .
This dish ended up being too rich for me and I wasn’t able to finish it as I found myself close to falling into a carb coma but for my first biscuits, gravy and grits experience it was a good one! Also found the storefront to be charming as my dog became transfixed by the bubbles that they started blowing

Amazing food! As a southerner the sausage gravy is the closest thing to the real deal I've ever found.
Definitely will be my new go-to breakfast spot when I'm in Seattle.
