If you're craving authentic Thai cuisine, Thai Quality Restaurant is a hidden gem! 🌟
I recently tried their Pad Thai, and it was bursting with flavor - perfectly balanced between sweet and savory. The portions were generous, and each bite was a delight!
The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual dinner or takeout. I can't wait to go back for their green curry next time! Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious Thai food in Oxnard...🥢
Pad see ew and cheese crab from their menu are really good from this hidden spot. The hostess was so kind and patient with us while we decided what to order. The thai tea was so good and not too sweet compared to other places around.
Delicious food! I’m so happy that they can make the curry no spicy / mild so I can actually enjoy such delicious cuisine without chugging down water! Very friendly staff! Will definitely come again!!
Due to great reviews, we decided to try this place when I was in Oxnard.Ordered spring rolls, but immediately asked waitress to cancel and replace with fried wontons. She brought spring rolls anyway and said that's what I ordered.I had to argue with her to take spring rolls back.I ordered drunken noodles and told waitress I didn't want it spicy. She said I could order mild and then add spice.Perfect, I thought.I ordered mild and it was still extremely spicy.Waitress said "I tried to tell you, so next time order no spice".Didn't offer to replace and didn't take it off check.I paid full price for a meal I did not eat.Other than the three in our party, restaurant was empty.Waitress never returned to check on table. We had to flag her down for water, etc. Will not return.
Owner response
Hi there, sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your time here. After we reviewed our video and audio footage, there are some fault in your review, and we standby our staff performance. This is her statement. The mother ordered fresh roll, and then she asked it's not fry right? then the kid said no it's fresh not fry, and i said yes that's right. Then the mother ordered a drunken noodle, I asked how spicy? Mom said medium spice . I said the food here is spicy, Medium spice equals to very spicy to some people. Can you eat spicy food? Or would you like to make it less spicy MILD and add chili outside? The Mother said okay.I repeat again that the food here is really spicy. If You can't eat spicy at all, You should have ordered not spicy in the first place. Then I asked, do you want anything else? The kid ordered noodle soup.I also asked how spicy? Or are you going to make it not spicy and add it outside? The kid said he can eat spicy food, but not too spicy. So he ordered MILD and added chilli outside.I asked, do you want anything else? The husband ordered spicy basil fried rice vegetable, I asked how spicy? he said medium spice.I asked if he was sure and he said sure.I've warns them often how spicy this place is.Every customer comes in, we always give out warning, because I don't want to face the problem of customers not able to eat spicy food.Then...I asked again, do you want anything else? The Mother said i'll take an egg roll. The kid asked what did you order? Mom said, an egg roll and then the kid said that one is good.I asked if they wanted anything else.they said they didn't want anything else. I went to put in the order.I wrote everything down on a piece of paper, and by the way i still have that piece of paper .When the food came out, I went to serve the Fresh rolls. They said they didn't order this, they Cancel it to the egg roll.and I said you didn't tell me that you cancel it. they said we ordered an egg roll, did you order it in? I said yea i put it in but you ordered fresh roll first and egg roll last.So...I had to take it back and pay for that dish myself. The food slowly comes out and I served it to them, After they had eaten for a while I went to check up on them.the mother said this one is too spicy , I ordered MILD but this one is very spicy.I said I warned you , The food here is spicy, next time if you can't eat spicy, you should order no spice. She said he couldn't eat it, it was too spicy, She said, you told me MILD is a little spice, and I said to her that this is MILD over here it's a bit more spicy, and then I said sorry and back out, She should be responsible for what she ordered. The husband had MEDIUM and he finish it not a problem. I stood at the counter and i would alway pay attention to them.I asked Do you want anything else? I saw the mother gave her food to the kid to eat.I saw that the kid glass was empty and went to refill it. I put the check down and said thank you. They didn't even look at me or say anything back. They stood up about to leave, and I said thank you again. The husband and the kid walked out and the mother wrote on the bill " very bad service won't be back" and then walked out, I say thank you to them once more. All of them kept their faces steady and didn't even smile. I want to say that if customers were like this, I wouldn't want to serve them. What you wrote down for me, I don't agree with at all.I've alway been nice and kind to everyone that comes here.We always warn customers about the spiciness of our food, it is what we are known for, and Our customers always know and understand.
