I recently visited Tesco Cafe in Dumfries, and it’s a solid spot for a quick bite. The coffee is surprisingly delightful - definitely among the best in the area! I opted for the classic breakfast; while the egg and bacon brioche was hearty, I wished it had been warmer.

The atmosphere could use a little more vibrancy, but the clean tables and friendly staff made up for it. Just be cautious if you have mobility issues - it’s a bit tricky to navigate. Overall, a cozy place for brunch! ☕
