Update 2/14/24... Still a great place! Lunch specials are plentiful and so tasty.
As always everything is well prepared..... My favorite mom & pop Indian food place.
The decor is basic, the service is perfunctory.
The star is the food, particularly the lunch specials.
The lunch menu is set, they cross off what isn't available.
What is available is tasty and plentiful.
The Nan (I don't know if that is spelled properly) is always good (but has dipped in quality during Covid) and I love finishing the meal off with the basic but tasty rice pudding.
I never liked rice pudding before finding this restaurant.

Sat down to a grumpy woman who just stared at me.
I saw the glasses at the table with napkins stuffed in them.
That is so unsanitary.
The napkin was full of dust, and there was dust on the table around the glass.
I asked for water and the same grumpy lady came out with a pitcher she planned to poor into the dirty dusty disgusting glass.
I told her I wanted a new glass and told her about the dust.
She grabbed the glasses to go back to the kitchen, not before giving me a very ugly look.
We left right after that.
I won't be back, and I will make sure the health department is aware of the unsanitary conditions of the dining room

Less than halfway potions on lunch to-go order. Lack of customer service.
I'm a returning customer whom has been eating here for years.
Today I ordered the lunch non veg Thali to go.
When I opened the cups at home, all were filled to less than halfway with the exception of the rice.
I called to speak with the lady who charged me and only received the response "that's our lunch portion.
We do not give full portions for lunch." No apology or attempt to correct the issue.
I'm a loyal patron but sadly will no longer return after today's experience.
Please check your portions of ordering to go before leaving.
Very dissapointed.
