Los Portales is a favorite when I'm in Wilmington.
The Cubano Torta is a must, if you're familiar with a Cuban sandwich, you get the idea.
However it has some excellent additions, including avocado slices and a marinade is involved.
It's the one to get! Guac is excellent.

The food was delicious.
We ordered ceviche, mojarra frita, carne asada, huarache, guacamole, quesadilla, and some tacos.
The food was tasty, but the tortilla chips were not crispy, but they had a taco bar with homemade sauces, cucumbers, limes, pico de gallo...
that really set them apart

Neat little restaurant serving authentic Mexican food.
Had the chicken quesadilla and it was excellent. Fountain cokes and not much parking.
