Shout out to the lady at the window who gave me the wrong tacos.I asked for 3 Supreme Doritos Locos Tacos, not soft tacos.The bag my food came in was also wet at the bottom, not sure why, but that’s pretty gross.
It's Taco Bell.C-grade food (most fast food chains are B-grade, few are A-grade like Sonic).Costs have gone up significantly over the past few years, so unless you're ordering off of the $1-2-3 menu (which used to be the 79-89-99¢ menu) you're going to paying what you would for take out at a nicer place.I'd say your money is better spent there unless it's late at night and no where else is open, in a serious time crunch, or just have a Taco Bell craving you have to hit.They no longer have the salsa verde which was the best, nor the caramel apple empanada which was my favorite.
I was having a really hard day and tried to order food on the app and it was not working.So I went into the restaurant to order and it was going to be almost $20 more than the online order.For reasons unrelated to this, I began to cry in the drive-through, the team was really empathetic and kind, I think I might have made them feel bad 😬 it goes a long way to show a human kindness, especially on a day when I really needed it.They explained to me why they couldn’t honor app prices, but did give me coupons for future purchases.Even though they weren’t the cause of my bad night, they really went the extra mile to make me feel better.It was appreciated!
