My friend and I visited Table 28 for my birthday dinner and I really enjoyed myself.They were able to seat us immediately without a reservation.The atmosphere is nice and the quality of service was good.Our waiter took time to explain the menu options to us.I enjoyed my food and appreciated a complimentary birthday treat which was the sticky toffee pudding.It is one of their most popular desserts and it was amazing.
Positives: First off and most importantly, the food is fantastic.The dishes are well prepared, well seasoned and overall just great.Service was good, waitstaff were friendly and worked quick (although it was quiet). The oxtail was well cooked and served in a good size portion, a recommended dish! Negatives: the place lacks atmosphere, it truly is a mix between upscale dining and hotel lobby bar.The food comes out too quick, we were done with appetisers and mains within 30 mins, total experience lasted just under an hour, could stage longer times between courses. The wine list is pretty poor, selling a $13 - bottle Malbec for $12 a glass - some reasonable bottles on the wine list but most are at least 100% mark up.

We were excited to eat at Table 28 again.The food was excellent and memorable.Unfortunately, we had a different experience this time. The good: Ease of placing a reservation Service Atmosphere Drinks Food temperature Time it took to get the orders The bad: Cleanliness of booth Presentation of food Flavor/textures of food Menu description inconsistent with what was served

Dear E.W. The fabric on booths looked worned out and coincidentally we just replaced them this week. I’m very sorry regarding your experience with the food and menu inconsistency.I will bring it to the chef’s attention, however we just changed the menu and hopefully corrected some of the issues.
