Stopped in with the family for dinner. We had the shrimp rolls, basket of fries, a pork banh mi, a chicken rice plate, and a pork rice plate.Everything was delicious. The little one loves the aoli sauce that came with the fries. They offer water for free, and have a variety of canned soda to drink.
My first time eating here.I got tofu Banh Mi to go.$9.95 is a bit much for a tofu sandwhich, but it is what it is.I won’t mind the price if it’s delicious. Service was quick- maybe a little less than 5 min. There was just 1 other person ahead of me but I think they were dining in. So- let me start off by saying the bread is great. The Banh Mi was served warm! Outside had the perfect light crunch and inside was nice and soft! Perfect bread! On to the filling- The Tofu is bland. No seasoning, no flavor.I’ve had plenty of tofu Banh Mi’s and tofu is perfect for soaking up spices! But this had zero. They offer lemongrass dishes here- if I were the owner, I’d make the tofu with lemongrass to really kick in the Viet flavors. The pickles were ok.I wanted more, I felt like they could’ve added more pickles. “House special sauce” tasted like a version of 1000 island dressing.I don’t think the Banh Mi’s work with this dressing-too tangy.Regular mayo is fine.Personally, I thought It was ok.Didn’t care for it in my sandwhich. I look forward to trying their butterfly shrimp banhmi next.It is only $1 more than their tofu one.I really hope they do well here.It will be nice to have a great place to eat when I’m working.Hopefully they tweak and refine their sandwiches!
Good pho, maybe a little pricier than other places but in a nice area you can take a walk in the park nearby and Quickly for boba afterwards
