This is my go to spot for dim sum and Chinese food in town.
We love the BBQ pork buns, salt and pepper fish, the roasted duck, and chow mein. The restaurant is located in an old bank in downtown Pinole.
The room is large with plenty of seating inside, and plenty of parking outside. It can get loud when they are busy, and dim sum is always a full room.

The manager embarrassed me in front of customers by assuming that I was not going to pay my bill.
Second, the manager fraudulently checked off a tip, which I did not authorize nor consent to.
Third, when I called to settle this matter, the manager told me over the phone that she was not present at the restaurant.
I called today 08/07/24 and she said the same thing.
Finally, I was tired of all the lies and games she was playing, so I went in and there she was.
I got my refund and I'll never do business them again.
Please, before you leave the King Valley Tea House, CHECK YOUR RECEIPT FOR ACCURATE CHARGES! They have proven dishonest to me.

This restaurant is excellent.
The dimsum is on point, and the service is very good.
A testament to the excellent food is that the restaurant is always full.
I totally recommend you give it a try, worthwhile!
