September 13, 2024I recently stopped by Subway on Maiden Lane for a quick lunch, and while the casual atmosphere and accessibility are a plus, my experience was a bit lackluster.
I ordered a classic Italian BMT but was surprised by the additional charges for toppings like mozzarella ($2.50!) that weren’t clearly indicated. The staff appeared overwhelmed and weren't particularly friendly, which added to the stress of ordering.
Though the sandwich had fresh veggies, the bread was a bit soggy. I appreciate their healthy options and the convenience of takeout, but the service and overall vibe could use some improvement... 🌯
