Oh my gosh! This place is absolutely amazing with authentic German food.
The atmosphere, the staff and the food is outstanding! My Schnitzel was as good as my German Grandmother’s, and that’s saying A LOT! The draft beer selection was wonderful! We will definitely go back to this restaurant when we visit Springfield again.

This place is like stepping through a portal into Germany! The decor, the clothing, the hospitality…it was a step above! Def no cheap, but the food was delicious (I finally can say I’ve tried schnitzel with noodle), I specially enjoyed the cucumber salad!!! The indoor and outdoor spaces were just so unique and fun and one of the servers even gave me a tour and told me the history! Most of the place is accessible, it there are.
A few stairs to enter certain areas (bathroom and main seating area is fully accessible and there is a ton of outdoor seating and even yard games and a Maypole). Parking is along the street adjacent to the side of the cafe, and I had not trouble finding parking.

What a fun spot! A friend recommended this place to me while on a work trip.
I happily went for lunch and did the 3 course lunch special! The service and ambiance of this place is bar none! What a great find! First I had the Goulash for a started, it had a wonderful taste to it…so so flavorful!! For my main course I got the Veal Kaiser Schnitzel, as good as it tastes in Germany!! For dessert I had the Sticky Toffee Pudding, was a recommendation from the waitress, I’m so glad I listened to her.
It was to die for! I highly recommend this spot! 10/10!! Prost!🇩🇪
