Steak-Out in Sioux Falls might be part of a franchise, but for this area it's a really unique food experience. We've ordered steaks and sirloin tips from Steak-Out for years, but tonight I ordered my first burger and it was great. Their cheesecake is one of the best in Sioux Falls.
It tastes fresh baked (I don't know for sure if it is) and isn't just the same pre-packaged cheesecake that everyone else sells.

Normally I love this place, but today's visit was a bit disappointing.
The steak tips were a bit undercooked and definitely lacked the normal yummy steak out seasoning flavor I am accustomed to.
Also, the garlic mashed potatoes are NOT edible...looks like clumpy soup vs a fluffy mash they usually make.
Portions of all 3 including salad were smaller than previous.
Maybe they have changed some things with the times, but still disappointed.

I have normally had a decent steak from here, but tonight's was probably the worst I have ever had.
I had to vit 3/4 of it out due to fat and gristle.
It was overcooked and had no flavor.
The other problem I had was a bit of confusion about ordering a side.
I ended up paying 7.00 for a 2nd potato, which is crazy. I can buy 2 bags of potatoes for that price.
Needless to say, I won't do this again.
