Had the Linguine Nere con Gamberi, Calamari e Pomodoro i.e., squid ink linguine with shrimp, squid and tomato, and the Insalata di Finocchi Mele Rosse Pinoli Ricotta Salata, i.e., Fennel salad with red apple, pine nuts & ricotta cheese. Both were pleasant.
Relative to the salad, the pasta was more delicious.
The sauce was delightful -- I wished I had had the bread with the sauce!! I had taken the bread out first and set them aside and forgot about them until I finished the pasta. The bread was a generous portion, and was well baked and I could enjoy it on its own.

Cozy, authentic Italian bistro tucked away on the side street off Columbus Ave.
It’s tiny and very homey feeling.
Their pastas are fresh, flavorful, well-portioned but not at all overfilling.
The fettuccine was perfectly al dente and the lasagna with bechamel sauce is really special and light.
Wine is reasonably priced and goes well with the dishes.
Make sure to save room for desserts.
Both tiramisu and pistachio tartufo were delicious! Thanks for the hospitality.

So delicious my sister and I practically licked our plates.
Superb service, we told them me were in a rush and they got our dishes out to us almost immediately and split the pasta into two plates without us having to ask.
The guy that owns the place is also so sweet and funny.
If I were a local I would definitely be a regular here.
Despite our short time there it was a very memorable experience.
Will be back next time we’re in nyc!
