SOUTHSIDE Chicken Wings & Grits

Had went here twice with my wife and boy I can honestly say it was a great experience.
It’s three restaurants the southside chicken wings and grits I had ordered 6pc wing dinner and a cheese burger and everything was great.
Next door is a soul food joint where her soul food will take you back to yo gma days.
I ordered meatloaf, homemade mash potatoes, greens and cornbread.
Amazing food really was.
It’s also a taco joint next door I’m going to be trying that as well lol.

Just at one bite of my chicken nachos and I already know I'm going to be back here in the next week or so.
Not only were they absolutely welcoming and the chitchat while waiting on my food cooked to order was the was best but it was well worth the trip on this side of dallas.
I also ordered the shrimp scampi which I'm about to dig into right now so I can't make this any longer 😩🥰.

One of the worst situations I have been in.
Was looking for a place that had food already cooked and didnt have to wait much.
I ordered the stew special for $8.
Not nonly did they gave me a portion about size of a small desert plate and about less than 1 inch tall to go but it only had one piece of stew meat and rest was potatoes.
It took 10 minutes of wait also.
I dont recommend this place to anyone.
At least they gave me my money back...one star for that.
