Social Roost

Had a great dinner there while on vacation.
The server was excellent and guided us through both the drink and food menu.
Lots of craft cocktails and good bourbon to choose from.
I also found one of my new favorite wines from their menu.
Food and appetizers were excellent! We all ended up trying each other's entrees because they looked so good! The restaurant's decor is a bit odd but don't let it deter you.
This place is GREAT! Definitely looking forward to going back.

I recently visited Social Roost in Downtown St.
Pete for a late breakfast, looking to try something new based on positive online reviews.
We arrived to find plenty of available seating, and the decor and atmosphere were appealing.
Despite noticeable wear and tear on the seating fabric, we were seated promptly with no wait. Our server was attentive and offered suggestions on cocktails and food.
We chose the passion fruit mimosas and a brunch bowl.
While the mimosa was underwhelming, lacking any garnish or passion fruit pulp, the food arrived in about 12 minutes and was visually appealing.
Unfortunately, part of the egg white on top wasn't fully cooked, resulting in an undesirable texture.
After removing the uncooked portion, the meal was tasty overall. In summary, Social Roost has potential with its inviting atmosphere and attentive service, but some aspects, like drink presentation and food preparation, could use improvement.

I highly recommend Social Roost for anyone looking for a fantastic brunch experience.

Don't miss out on this culinary gem! This review is based on two separate dining experiences. First and foremost, the Chicken and Waffles dish was an absolute delight.
Two large fried breasts perfectly paired with a softer yet incredibly delicious waffle.
The combination was simply outstanding and I can confidently say that it was some of the best chicken and waffles I have ever had. Next, I had the pleasure of trying the Granola Pear dish, which was served warm and packed with delightful flavors.
The sweetness of the pear combined with the crunchiness of the granola was a match made in heaven. I also had the opportunity to indulge in the Pancakes.
These pancakes were thin and dusted with powdered sugar, adding a touch of sweetness to every bite.
They were not the thick cake version.
They were cooked to perfection and were simply delightful. The Chicken Sandwich is a must-try.
It was packed with flavor and made for the perfect on-the-go meal. Lastly, I had the pleasure of trying the Peruvian Chicken dish.
It consisted of a small baked chicken served with black beans, rice, and plantain.
The flavors were incredible and the dish was beautifully presented.
It was a true delight for the taste buds. The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall dining experience.
