I have been to Simply Indian multiple times with my friends and keep going back to it because the food feels homemade and simple, one of the very few satisfactory indian restaurants in the area. The service is pretty decent and the ambiance is welcoming most of the time. The staff is easy to communicate with. Here are some things that I ordered from my multiple visits to the restaurant and my honest review for each: 1.Mysore Bonda : Refried, Too Oily, Doughy and uncooked from Inside 2.Sambar Vada : Simple yet comforting and flavorful ; Just like homemade 3.Idli Vada combo : Idli wasn’t fresh and too firm to eat, the Vada waa fresh and crispy though. 4.Punugulu : Deep fried, crispy, fluffy and delicious P.S: The chutneys given with all the snacks are very small amount for the given snack and are not thick enough. We usually end up asking for extra chutney all the time. 5.Rice and Roti Thali : I have tried both Veg and Non-Veg thalis. They were spot on and bang for your buck. All the curries were fresh and flavoursome.
Really well done, esp after the expansion. I come here once in a while from 50 miles away, when I need the right kind of Indian masala & spices to hit my mood with good food. Love the Mutton Biryani...meat is fresh, tender & tasty. & Double ka meetha in dessert is nice.. is not too sweet, just the right amount. And the Cut Mirchi & masala chai is decent too.
We decided on the family pack chicken 65 biryani, and it was a delightful experience with a side of refreshing raita and curry. The taste was quite decent, offering a unique touch of sweetness in the chicken 65.The spice level was adjustable, making it a personalized treat.Surprisingly, I found it more enjoyable than other chicken 65 biryanis I've sampled. The staff was exceptionally kind and polite, adding a warm touch to the overall experience.
