We were very excited to come here based off of recommendations and knowing the connections to the other establishments (the attic, tavern157). My recommendations would be to order a bunch of the shared plates because it’s barely enough for two people. The sampler platter was a good introduction to the food ( the moneybag dumplings was my favorite of the night). On a Monday night it’s not busy, which surprised me when I had to order a side of rice (not warm) that didn’t come with the shared plates. The atmosphere is nice, it’s Instagram ready, the staff are people pleasing, street meter parking was available and it’s a quick walk down a flight of stairs to the restaurant. Bathroom is clean and the food is decent.Maybe the food sat in the window a little too long, I felt the food could’ve come out warmer. I would come back.
Siam Thai Eatery is a charmingly decorated restaurant, making it an excellent pick for a date spot. Its ambiance is green and lush, giving the place a warm and cozy feeling. The service was commendable, with the servers being both kind and knowledgeable. The food, however, was a mixed bag.The tomahawk short rib massaman curry was a standout, with its strong star anise and coconut flavors making it a delight. The Thai chicken rice was good too, though the rice was slightly underdone. The Siam platter was decent, with the highlight being the money bags dumplings. The market oysters were just okay and didn't pair well with the Thai sauce. The drinks, particularly the Lychee Thai iced tea and palm juice, were refreshing and enjoyable. While I do think there are better Thai restaurants out there in terms of value, Siam Thai Eatery still offered a fairly pleasing dining experience overall.
Beautiful place to eat and meet with friends and family.Interior is wonderful and food was delicious. It looked very pretty too.Highly and neatly decorated place.Picture perfect place! The servers were nice too. They recommended us with food to our taste and preferences.Tables were not too close, far enough to each other so it felt somewhat private.
