The food was great ! My favorite is their Mapo Tofu with pork.It was an amazing taste.Their chicken curry in clay pot was delicious as well. A little disappointed on the chicken wings. It says Fried dry chicken wings, but it came out very saucy .Their service was slow that night, they were very busy and only two waiters working. They served my Mapo Tofu without pork when I ordered it with pork.Of course, I wasn't happy about that.I'm willing to pay more for it.I politely told them about it, and they changed it.I'm glad I spoke up. Overall, I'm planning to come back and try it again someday.
Searching for a satisfying Chinese food experience in Portland? Look no further than Shandong. This restaurant offers a decent culinary journey through Chinese flavors that won't disappoint. Upon stepping into Shandong, you're greeted with the enticing aroma of hot and fresh dishes, promising a delightful dining experience. One standout dish that captured my taste buds was the soup dumplings. These little pillows of joy are bursting with flavor, delivering a delightful explosion with each bite. It's no wonder they quickly became my favorite. While I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to visit Shandong, if you happen to find yourself in the area, it's definitely worth checking out.The food is served up quickly, allowing you to satisfy your cravings without a long wait.Plus, the overall experience is a solid option for those seeking a taste of authentic Chinese cuisine in Portland.
Pretty ok.Portland really struggles to have legit Chinese food.Portions were mediocre.Dish could use just a touch more sauce.Nice crispy breading.Rice isn't included with dish, but for $3 you get the perfect amount for 2 of their mains. It's an odd strategy to make a few pennies more.
