Such good ramen.
The broth in both dishes was delicious.
The added egg to the black garlic was nice to balance the rich and savory flavors.
This place goes head to head with other top notch ramen restaurants in the area.
Will definitely be back! Also note, we both did level 3 spicy and it was a pretty true mild to medium - do go higher if you prefer heat.

As I walking around Sellwood, I found Senyo on New Year's Day, I was pleasantly surprised to find a cozy spot open for a comforting meal.
With a limited yet enticing menu, I opted for the black garlic ramen, maze soba, and gyoza. The black garlic ramen was a delightful bowl of umami goodness.
The broth, rich and robust with hints of garlic, enveloped the perfectly cooked noodles, creating a harmonious blend of flavors.
The tender slices of pork belly were a savory delight, adding depth to each spoonful. The maze soba was a unique and satisfying choice.
Mixing the savory minced meat, chewy noodles, and a medley of toppings created a symphony of textures and tastes that kept me going back for more. The gyoza, with its crispy bottom and juicy filling, were an absolute treat. Overall, Senyo exceeded expectations with their delicious offerings, making it a delightful start to the new year.
The fact that they were open on a holiday was an added bonus, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit to explore more of their flavorsome menu!

Senyo by Ramen Ippo is the best ramen in Portland.
Dice is absolutely amazing at what he does. His tan tan is incredibly well balanced.
The broth is almost creamy, yet so smooth.
Very satisfying on a cold, wet day. Their garden ramen is fresh, healthy.
We get it a little spicy (level 3 out of 5). Go early so you can get one of his amazing eggs! Six stars out of five!
