I recently dined at Safier Mediterranean Deli, and my experience was a bit of a mixed bag.
Let me break it down: The Good: Flavorful Food: The dishes were flavorful, and I appreciated the variety of options, including both vegetarian and meat-based choices. Friendly Service: The staff was friendly and attentive, making the dining experience pleasant. The Not-So-Good: Ambiance: The restaurant’s ambiance could use some improvement.
It felt a bit cramped, and the lighting was too bright for my liking. Portion Sizes: While the portions were generous, some dishes seemed a bit overwhelming.
Finding a balance would be ideal. Timing: The wait time for our food was longer than expected.
If you’re in a hurry, this might not be the best choice. Overall Impression: Safier Mediterranean Deli has its merits, especially if you’re craving Mediterranean flavors.
However, there are areas for improvement.
I’d recommend it for a quick lunch or casual dinner, but manage your expectations.

This place is great! I was walking down on a Sunday, most places were closed but I saw a line at this place and figured I’d give it a try.
I’m glad I did! I ordered the chicken schwarma meal and substituted in hummus and tabouli.
I’ve had chicken schwarma from Athens, London, Dearborn, and many other places - this was some of the best I’ve ever had! I’m happy I stopped by, wish I’d have ordered more!

I got a falafel sandwich combo.
The interior of the sandwich was delicious, but the pita wrap had unfortunately fused with the sandwich paper making it difficult to remove even with great effort.
I elected not to eat the pita parts that were stuck with paper, which was most of it. The fries were fine.
They are fries. If I go back I will probably get the platter next time.
