Rusty's is a go-to spot for me, with consistently good food, ice-cold beer, and friendly service.
It's a welcoming place to hang out.
The staff are always nice.

If you are an international tourist, best to avoid this bar! Went with a group of 6, mid afternoon, to have a few drinks.
Made our way to the outdoor bar and upon ordering, were asked for IDs.
Everyone in the group, including 4 US friends, produced their driver licences.
Barman seemed confused at the 2 UK drivers licences (same style and format as US license), and then consulted a colleague.
She told him it’s up to him to decide.
He then tells us he can’t accept them, only US and Canadian licenses.
I try to explain they are UK government issue, but he refused, so the 31 and 34 year old UK visitors can’t be served.
He offers drinks to the rest, but we obviously decline and leave.
Go to the bar next door, same checks done, all good and we spent quite a few $$$ enjoying ourselves.
So if you are on holiday from abroad, avoid this place.

We're sorry we couldn't serve your two friends that night! Our regulatory agency doesn't provide the necessary resources to validate foreign IDs.
Therefore, we have to be safe and refuse to serve alcohol when we can't validate a customer's age.
