Sage on 47th

Sage 47 is a keeper.
My husband and I went there on Saturday night for dinner with friends who asked us to join them and give the restaurant a try and I have to say, food quality, service, and atmosphere, it is all A+.
I had the Pork Cheeks and OMG, what an amazing dish.
We also had the yucca fries, and I wanted to eat them all by myself.
I do recommend this restaurant.
Drinks were amazing too.
I hope the quality of food, flavor and customer service remains the same for many years to come.
Nice place to take customers and visitors from out of town/country.
A nice addition to Downtown Cape

This is an amazing restaurant.
The food is fresh and not from a freezer.
The drinks are made with real ingredients and not corn syrup mixers.
The atmosphere and music are such a great vibe.
The servers are so attentive and kind.
Stone and Laura are definitely worth asking for! Great servers! This is definitely our new go to restaurant.

Edited 4/7- wife and I tried the wagu skirt steak sandwich for brunch.
We had already eaten elsewhere and wish we hadn’t.
Skirt steak soft as tenderloin, perfect runny egg and homemade hash brown hash with peppers and onion and well everything was spot and in flavor.
They impressed us again and you must try. First time in and not our last.
Bartenders Andrew and Joey were great.
Knowledgeable and attentive.
Met the owner and chef.
Very friendly, casual and decades of experience.
Started with the mushroom app which I forgot to take a pic.
Mushrooms you won’t get at most markets.
They are blanketed by a savory crepe and a dollop of goat cheese.
I’m missing ingredient’s but it’s great.
Second app was the lamb tartare.
Lemon and capers and a sous vide egg and just great quality and great flavor.
Third app was the charred oysters.
Nice size and good but, for me, missing the butter and garlic and darker char.
Last but not least the lamb burger.
Medium rare, pancetta, smoked Gouda cheese.
Fantastic! Last words… do not feel like you are underdressed.
The environment and staff make it very causal and it will be well worth the visit.
