A Saturday night dinner date at Riel, and let me tell you, this place is a foodie paradise! Every dish was unique and tasted phenomenal.Even the cocktails were wonderful.We got the pirogies and mushroom empanadas to start, which were both fantastic.Then for the entrees my husband had the kimchi carbonara which he LOVED and I had the red snapper with collard green dumplings and I LOVED it! Then we decided to keep it going with dessert of the bees knees and THAT was also delicious! Literally not one dud of a dish, we were full and happy leaving!
Easily the best restaurant I had in Texas.Bear in mind though, I am only visiting as a tourist. Everything was great, the favour profile is bold and brave but it works.must try.
Food is phenomenal. There are some places you go for the atmosphere.There are some places you go for the service.Here, the service and atmosphere are good, but the food is PHENOMENAL. I was a solo diner.Admittedly, I did almost leave waiting for the server.Glad I didn’t.The initial delay was my only issue and such a minor one at that.My server took care of me and was great otherwise. I had the mushroom empanadas, kimchi carbonara, and bees knees for dessert.I was definitely happy food dancing with that carbonara.In public.To no music.I’ve added pictures of the starter and dessert, but I was a bit too busy eating to take a picture of the carbonara. It was good
