Red Balloon Cafe

I noticed this restaurant from the beltway.
They have a large sign showing serving breakfast, so I was curious.
I work in the area so it’s always good to know any good places to eat near my job.
Once I entered the restaurant, I noticed that it was very clean.
I was greeted by Ms Miriam, very sweet, very friendly and kind.
I was interested in the veggie omelette, but was disappointed once I was told they had no spinach.
So I decided to get the cheese omelette and I added grilled chicken breast and it was delicious.
It came with potatoes that were cooked to perfection with green bell peppers, red bell peppers onions They were delicious with my omelette.
I inquired about trying the oatmeal, but was again disappointed when told it would take a long time to cook, 🤔(oatmeal 🥴 ok I guess).
I also ordered a single pancake on the side the pancake taste exactly like how I cook mine at home so this was perfect.
Overall by my picture as you can see, everything was delicious and very fulfilling & everything was cooked fresh.
I definitely will return you guys have a new customer! while waiting on my food to cook.
I looked over the menu and saw quite a few things that I would like to try.
If you’re looking for some good food definitely try this place……………………….
Update last two picture are from today Oct 22,2023.
Exactly four months ago was the first and last visit here… and unfortunately today I was not pleased… my omelette was nothing like last time.
It wasn’t good &very disappointing.
Funny, I didn’t receive the potatoes that I thought were delicious.
today they actually had oatmeal, but as you can see, it was full of water.
I just found out it’s new cooks and you can tell.
My experience was nothing.
Like my first time visiting four months ago.I asked for a refund for the oatmeal.
It was bad enough that I didn’t eat the whole omelette.
Sadly, this will be my last time Coming

I stopped here a couple of weeks ago for the first time and got their French toast breakfast, and it was great.
Then yesterday, I tried out their breakfast tacos, and they did not disappoint.
First, I got the chorizo and egg on a flour tortilla. After eating it, I was so impressed that I went back up and ordered the ham and egg on a white corn tortilla.
Again, this again did not disappoint me. They are very friendly and look forward to having more items from them. I love supporting small businesses since I have one as well called Texas Blue Courage Company LLC.

We Came here for breakfast.
Food was okay.
Just one person working.
She did all the cooking , taking orders, make coffee, etc..
I was thinking this place had table service but you order at the counter.
You gotta get everything yourself.
It was breakfast and you would think there would be plenty of coffee.
I went to get a refill and the coffee pot was empty.
By the time the coffee was ready we were ready to leave.
I wasn't impressed with this place.
Sad, because I like little hole in the wall places, maybe it was an off moment for the place.
Not sure I will return to this place.
I passed it several times on my way to 290 and was excited to try it.
Not what I expected.
