Ramen restaurant
I wasn't super impressed with the ramen in soup form, just because the chicken broth was a little too salty, but the Yaki ramen was fantastic! The service was fast and prices were reasonable.Really good veggie fried rice as well. They offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.
I am really sad to say that I am dissatisfied with my experience here. I didn't realize that it is more of a fast food place. Also, keep in mind it is next to a movie theater so even late in the evening there are a lot of families with kids running around. We ordered the cheesy deep fried potato as an appetizer which was really tasty. Gyoza here is made with chicken, not pork so I skipped it. We also ordered a slice of their Japanese cheesecake souffle. As a baker, this cake was very dense and meh. Either it deflated on them after baking or an after effect of refrigeration. I wouldn't mind coming back for appetizers and maybe a drink. With that said, I came for the ramen. Tonkotsu ramen was made with thin noodles. Not my first choice, but okay. The bamboo shoots were super tough. I know a lot of commercial ones are canned, maybe I got some bad ones? Who can say. Finally, the broth makes or breaks the ramen, and sad to say this tonkotsu was so bland. Tonkotsu is rich and flavorful and this was just a big bowl of sadness. I did not finish this bowl.
Love that you can customize your meal. The ingredients were great and abundant, broth was delicious, and noodles were the proper texture. It made for a very satisfying meal on a cold autumn evening. I recommend!
