Brunch restaurant
Portage Bat never disappoints. This was my first time coming to the West Seattle location. We came close to closing time but we’re still seated! This time around I ordered the French toast and my partner got the verde burrito. Both were absolutely delicious and full of flavor - I always appreciate the toppings bar and being able to choose exactly what I want. The sliced almonds are my go to! We also got a mimosa which was nice and an Arnold Palmer which I would absolutely NOT recommend.
I wanted to love this place but sadly I didn't like anything.I got the gf french toast and my dining partner got the regular french toast.Neither of us liked either version. The gf french toast was made with a savory dense bread. The fruit bar was what seemed like a mixture of canned and fresh fruit. The bacon was undercooked. The coffee was basic and not worth the $4.The orange was good.Blankets and heaters outdoors were a nice touch for those who like to sit outside
This is such a cool breakfast spot right across the street from Safeway.Parking available street and parking lot.The service was wonderful! The lemon raspberry pancakes were out of this world. My guy had the biscuits and gravy and his only issue is that carrots don't go in sausage gravy. It wasn't listed on the menu with carrots and threw us for a loop! Haha very strange. But everything else was so perfect.
